Asian Mac and Cheese - Recipe #4

This Asian style mac and cheese is another family favorite.

You can use any sort of mac and cheese for this recipe: Kraft Dinner, Velveeta Shells, homemade mac and cheese, or any other kind!

All the recipes on this blog have ideal portions for 4 or 5 adults. We are using two boxes of Kraft Dinner for this recipe. If you need a bit more, simply add another box of Kraft Dinner.

What You'll Need:

- Your favorite mac and cheese: We are using 2 boxes of Kraft Dinner

- 1 pound of lean ground pork or beef
- 1 medium sized bell pepper (diced)
- 1 medium sized onion (diced)
- 10 mushrooms (diced)
- Half (.5) a tablespoon of garlic powder
- Half (.5) a tablespoon of black pepper
- 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- Sesame seeds (optional)

Directions:

Step 1: Make your favorite mac and cheese. We are using Kraft Dinner.

Step 2: Dice the bell pepper, the onion, and the mushrooms.

Step 3: Add the bell pepper and the onion to an oiled pan and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Step 4: After 5 minutes add the diced mushrooms.

Step 5: After another 5 minutes add the lean ground pork or beef. Add the garlic powder and black pepper as well.

Step 6: Cook until the meat is browned.

Step 7: Once the meat is browned, add the soy sauce and the Worcestershire sauce. Let that mixture simmer for a minute or two.

Step 8: Once the ingredients are done cooking, add them to your mac and cheese.

Step 9: Serve and garnish with sesame seeds if you want. (Highly recommended! It's delicious!)
